In 2023, I graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering but wasn’t ready to settle into a career. Instead, I returned to China, interning at a media company and diving into social media and content creation.
I pitched a YouTube documentary on traditional artisans, traveling across China to refine my filming skills. But creative differences shut the project down. Rather than stop, I started vlogging.
In Guangzhou, one of my videos caught the attention of a ZuThailand organizer, who brought me on to film the pop-up city. Working alongside an India-based film crew, I sharpened my editing and interview skills.
What started as a detour became the beginning of my filmmaking journey.
